Getting Started

You can connect email accounts for free. Connected accounts can be used to get quotes for retroactive extractions or real-time monitoring with a subscription.

Adding Your First Email Account

Navigate to Email Accounts

  1. Go to the left sidebar

  2. Click "Sources" > "Email Accounts"

  3. Click the white "Add an account" button (top right)

Choose Your Connection Method

  • Sign in with Google (Gmail/Workspace)

  • Sign in with Microsoft (Outlook/365)

  • Any other account (IMAP)

  • Invite a guest

Authorization Process

Grant access: You'll be redirected to your email provider's login page. Sign in and authorize Receiptor AI to access your inbox.

Read-only access: Receiptor AI requires read-only access to scan receipts and invoices. We never send emails or modify your messages.

Confirm connection: Return to your dashboard to confirm the connection was successful.

How It Works

  • Get quotes: Use connected accounts to get quotes for retroactive extractions from past emails.

  • Real-time monitoring: Upgrade to a subscription plan for automatic monitoring of new incoming emails with receipts and invoices.

  • Multiple accounts: Connect as many email accounts as needed. Each can be used for quotes and monitoring.

Guest Invitations

  • Invite team members: Send invitations to colleagues or team members to authorize their email accounts for your Receiptor AI workspace.

  • Guest experience: Invited guests are only able to see the invitation page, where they can authorize their account and view the processing details. They don't access your main dashboard.

  • Centralized management: Guest accounts can be used for retroactive extractions or added to your subscription for ongoing monitoring.
